At KBR Government Solutions, we don't just envision a world that's safer, more secure, and sustainable - we create it.Who You AreYou're a skilled and detail-oriented Painter with extensive experience in surface preparation, application techniques, and finishing.
With expertise in using a variety of tools, materials, and coatings, you excel at delivering high-quality results that meet project specifications and client expectations.What You'll DoIn the role of Painter, your duties will include:Perform pre-painting activities including scraping, sandpaper, and repair of cracks and holes before conducting general finishingExecute pre-emptive maintenance to ensure long-lasting colors and minimize future damagesResponsible for the maintenance of ventilation, compressed air, and personal protective equipment, and report any issues with equipment to managementResponsible for the application of paints using rollers, brushes, spray guns, and finishes drywall using standard or specialized toolResponsible for cleaning all equipment, including brushes and spray guns after useExecute tasks using scaffolding and ladders to reach high ceilings or walls.Other duties as required.RequirementsMust be a US or Australian citizenMust have a minimum of five years of experience as a painter with experience using a wide variety of indoor and outdoor paints.Must Possess an active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance or AUS PV ClearanceHigh School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation.Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.This role will be located in Alice Springs, at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space.
