We are seeking a Painter in the Melbourne CBD region for an opportunity in proactive and reactive maintenance works in a large complex facility.
This is a permanent full-time role from Monday – Friday. The hours are from 7.00am – 3.00pm.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Performing planned maintenance tasks relating to painting, decorating & building presentation. Responding to reactive requests as required (Graffiti, Make-Safe for offensive material, etc). Assisting in managing & maintaining tools and equipment. Operating plant equipment where qualified and licensed. Performing manual tasks associated with maintenance and construction as required, including safe working duties. Assisting other trades & contractors as required. Completing detailed service reports for works completed in a digital format. About You:
You will have experience as a Painter working in a commercial environment, familiar with many substrates & paint types and be able to determine their effectiveness & correct usage. You will possess the ability to be self-managed and maintain delivery expectations, order materials & equipment if required, and manage job quantities and stock.
You will also possess:
Competency in delivering high-quality results under your own supervision. Competence in a team environment. Good oral and written communication skills with an ability to interact with stakeholders on a day-to-day basis. High standards across compliance and driving safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) in your work. Ability to complete and pass a National Police Check, Medical, and Working with Children check. What We Offer You
