Retail Assistants (Retail & Consumer Products) Full time Inspirations Paint is Australia's leading Paint Specialists Franchise Group, servicing both the retail and trade markets. We are growing and always on the lookout for high calibre individuals to join our store teams.
A permanent position is available in our Dubbo (NSW) company store.
As part of DuluxGroup, a leading marketer and manufacturer of premium branded products, Inspirations Paint employees are part of Australia's largest network of paint stores, serving both retail (DIY) and trade (professional/commercial) markets.
Previous experience within the paint industry is preferred but not essential, as the paint industry is a specialised industry and we pride ourselves on providing accurate and professional advice to our customers. Relevant personal experience in home improvement projects or within the paint or hardware industries is an advantage.
The current position is available for immediate start for an enthusiastic and motivated individual seeking an opportunity to develop their career. Responsibilities include: Providing an exemplary customer experience to both retail and trade customersTinting and mixing paintFollowing the "Inspirations Way"Customer service and personalised product advice in the areas of paint and protective coatings, while assisting with sales, stock control and merchandisingStore presentation, stock management, housekeepingWorkplace Health & SafetyExperience / Attributes: Demonstrated customer service with personalised customer focusWell presented both in appearance and communicationApproachable, confident and energetic with a pleasant disposition and the ability to effectively deal with customer queries and/or customer complaintsAble to contribute and work in a team environmentSales experience and a knowledge of paint and associated productsAttention to detail, initiative and the ability to learn new systemsHonest, reliable and punctualThis role involves heavy lifting of over 23kgsIf you have knowledge of the paint industry, are enthusiastic and motivated and have a genuine interest in people and providing an exceptional customer experience, we would like to hear from you.
