Painttech SA, a family-owned company, is seeking a suitable candidate to join our vibrant and expanding team. We specialise in providing paint and panel beating supplies to customers in the automotive, industrial and furniture polishing industries. Our services cater to both trade and retail customers, offering a comprehensive range of accessories for coating application, preparation, and maintenance. As a Paint Room Assistant, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Providing excellent customer service to customers across all product lines including automotive, industrial and timber paints and all paint consumables. Ensuring a commitment to providing a professional customer experience for both our retail and trade customers. Answering and processing customer orders via telephone and email. Resolution of customer enquiries and where they arise.Use of computer software and supporting equipment for the purpose of colour matching paint samples. Tinting and mixing paint. Any other reasonable duties as directed. Previous paint sales and automotive colour experience would be desirable, however we are prepared to train a prospective candidate with different sales or automotive experience.
The successful applicant will have the following mix of technical and personal skills:
Good verbal and phone communication skills. A positive attitude to working in a busy and varied role.Pride in your ability to build long-term customer relationships. Strong organisation and time management skills. A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail. Physical aptitude to manage weights up to 25kg. Honest, reliable and punctual.Willingness to learn and continuously improve.Experience in the same or similar industries.
