Job Description The Financial Controller ANZ is reporting to a regional Finance Director and working closely with the local leadership team and Department Heads. The role includes the following:
Developing financial strategy, including risk minimisation plans Directing and overseeing all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the company Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues Optimising the handling of banking relationships and initiating appropriate strategies to enhance cash flow Managing and leading staff within the department Monitoring and analysing financial data Ensuring effective internal controls Complying with all federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation The Successful Applicant A successful ANZ Financial Controller should have:
Qualification in Accounting or Finance Experience in a senior management role within a finance department Strong skills in strategic planning and business leadership Experience in managing a large team Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, supported by strong analytical skills.
