Come enjoy a busy and proactive regional facility which provides care for an extensive rural and regional catchment area with 5 other registrars in a new hospital. The Paediatrics Unit at this hospital comprises a 12 bed Child & Adolescent Unit along with a 10 cot Special Care Nursery (1,700 births per year).The position provides an excellent clinical and learning experience in a supported environment delivering a diverse range of care for Paediatric patients across the Loddon Mallee Region. Work with an extremely supportive and approachable Paediatric consultant group; we have 24 hour Resident/HMO and Registrar presence in the hospital with Consultant on call. This position meets the rural rotation requirements for advanced training in general paediatrics and it is also an opportunity to experience true paediatrics.
