Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatrician to join our team at a hospital in the Northern Territory.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality inpatient, outpatient, outreach, and retrieval clinical services in paediatrics.Provide advice to the Head of Paediatrics on matters relating to paediatric services.Participate in quality management activities, performance appraisal, and personal and departmental continuing education programs.Supervise and participate in high-quality teaching for medical students, junior doctors, and nursing staff.Undertake research as appropriate.Participate in relevant hospital committees and in other administrative duties as required.Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high-quality, safe services and workplaces.About the HospitalThe hospital provides a range of services, including emergency care, surgery, and specialist medical services. RequirementsMust have general and/or specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia.Appropriate specialist qualifications (Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or equivalent).Demonstrated ability to work in a team and to assume administrative responsibilities.Good verbal and written communication skills.
