This Perth child and adolescent service is looking for a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician to join their dynamic Community Child Health team. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families while you enjoy working in a comprehensive service providing a range of community based early ID and intervention services to kids and families in Perth.
As part of the Child Development Service, you'll provide high-quality developmental and medical assessments for children with various needs, working within a multidisciplinary team that includes clinical nurses, psychologists, social workers, and therapists.
Job scope includes but is not limited to: Using your advanced levels of clinical practice, provide a developmental and medical assessment and management service. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver first class care. Provide a consultation liaison service to fellow professionals in other specialties. Maintain accurate and timely medical records. Contribute to the education and training of junior medical staff. Engage in ongoing professional development and service improvement initiatives. Selection criteria FRACP or equivalent ideally with specialist training in Community Child Health. Extensive experience in child development and paediatric care, with expertise in developmental assessments and managing complex cases. Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills. A collaborative ethos. Experience in teaching, mentoring, and contributing to research or policy development. Summary of role requirements: Looking for candidates available to work:Monday: Morning, Afternoon Tuesday: Afternoon, Morning Wednesday: Morning, Afternoon Thursday: Morning, Afternoon Friday: Morning, Afternoon 1 year of relevant work experience required for this role. Work visa can be provided for this role. Expected salary: $380,000 - $497,000 per annum.
