Alice Springs, Alice Springs & Central Australia NTResidents & Registrars (Healthcare & Medical)Government - State (Government & Defence)Senior Registrar SREG1 - SREG2 (Remuneration Package $188,958 - $206,410)Division of Women Children and YouthFixed vacancy in Alice Springs for 12 monthsAlice Springs Hospital is seeking a motivated senior registrar to work within the Paediatric team commencing as early as term 4 of 2024 and applications for 2025 are being accepted.We are seeking candidates to provide a high standard of medical care to inpatients and outpatients of the ASH, which includes patients transported from the Barkly and fringing townships of Western and South Australia being over 1 million km2 with around 50000 Emergency Department presentations and 22% being paediatrics.We promote clinical standards and quality of care through effective and efficient patient management, which includes attendance at teaching and unit meetings, outreach clinics to remote communities and regional centres throughout Northern Territory (NT).
Provide supervision, teaching and mentoring of Resident Medical Officers and Interns.
Maintain Advance Life Support (ALS) accreditation.The paediatrics ward has 30 beds and 2 treatment rooms, while supporting the neonatal unit.We also run our Specialist Outpatient and Outreach clinics in conjunction with the nurse Liaison team.Applications should consist of a one-page summary sheet, resume/CV, and copies of relevant qualifications.#J-18808-Ljbffr
