Effective Package: $172,822 to $183,580 per annum
Make a real difference in child and youth development, right where it's neededGrow your career with diverse and challenging cases and cultural supportChange lives, starting with your ownAbout the Role The Paediatric Psychologist is responsible for conducting cognitive assessments and recommending intervention strategies for Aboriginal children and young people with a range of neurodevelopmental disorders and complex conditions, as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT).
Your primary focus will be to manage a caseload of complex clients, delivering evidence-based, culturally safe clinical neuropsychological assessment and treatment recommendations for a range of neurodevelopmental disorders including FASD, ASD, and ADHD.
What We're Looking For A Paediatric Psychologist with a Master's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, or Forensic Psychology with full registration with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (AHPRA).A practitioner who can build strong, trusting relationships with clients and the community.If you bring exceptional clinical and communication skills, a proactive, adaptable attitude, and a genuine respect for diverse client backgrounds, we'd like to hear from you.What We Offer Work that is community-led, impact-focused and a part of the bigger picture.Opportunities to grow, including 15 days of professional development per year, with pathways including master's programs and study placements.6 weeks annual leave & 15 days paid personal leave per year.A flexible work policy including flexible start and finish times, compressed work weeks, part-time and casual roles, job sharing, remote work, hybrid work models, and the possibility to purchase additional paid leave.Salary packaging for full-time, part-time, and casual employees.*Total effective package includes; base salary, district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, and salary packaging options.
