So this is a unique career opportunity to be part of our epic growth story. The opportunity The Packing Equipment Coordinator is a critical role focused on maintaining the smooth operation of mechanised and automated equipment within the facility.
This role is responsible for performing pre-use checks, housekeeping tasks, consumable replenishment, and resolving equipment jams or faults to minimise downtime.
It requires a proactive, safety-focused individual with a mechanical aptitude and strong communication skills. Role location This role is based onsite at our Eastern Creek Fulfilment Centre. What you'll be doing Jam Removal: Remove jammed cartons and address blockages in conveyors, ensuring proper rework of affected cartons. Fault Resolution: Identify and address equipment faults, including resolving AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) and conveyor errors and debris-related issues.
Perform basic troubleshooting to determine the cause of jams and escalate complex issues to higher-level support. Collaboration: Work with machine technicians and engineers, including remote guidance, to resolve equipment faults effectively. Pre-Use Checks: Perform equipment checks as outlined by the Mechanisation Engineer. Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness of equipment through tasks such as blowing down, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping through housekeeping check lists. Consumable Replenishment: Regularly monitor and restock consumables for equipment. Approachable and Collaborative: Acts as the go-to person for equipment-related issues, supports the team, and communicates effectively with system users and engineers. Calm Under Pressure: Handles multiple simultaneous faults with composure, keeping team members informed of progress. Strong Communicator: Provides clear updates to operations team leaders on fault status and resolution times, escalating matters promptly when necessary.
