We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Quaker Oats team as a Packaging Machine Operator
at our Forrestfield site.
Details: Location: Forrestfield Rotating roster (6am – 2pm), (2pm - 10pm), (10pm – 6am) Monday to Friday Position: Permanent Full Time Selection Process: Phone Conversation - Interview - Online Testing - Background and Pre-Employment Medical Checks - Decision
Responsibilities Ensure all packing equipment functions smoothly and efficiently Conduct regular quality control checks, verifying that labelling and printing meet all requirements.
Follow escalation procedures when necessary Ensure that bags are correctly filled, sealed, and that the finished product meets all specifications Complete all necessary documentation clearly and fully, ensuring accuracy and legibility Report any equipment faults promptly to minimize downtime and maintain continuous operations Accurately scan barcodes to track products and ensure proper inventory management Actively work to achieve and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) Identify and resolve basic machine faults to maintain production flow Uphold high standards in safety, quality, productivity, and reliability Collaborate with the Quality, Rolling, Milling, and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations
Qualifications Good communication and problem-solving skills Forklift operator licence (or willing to obtain)
