234112) to join our team.Salary Range – $85,000 - $95,000 per annum excluding superannuation

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Collect and analyze data on produce, feed, soil, water quality, and other factors that affect livestock and crop production.Advise farmers on issues like livestock and crop diseases, pest and weed control, soil improvement, animal care, and nutrition programs.Develop methods to solve problems and improve the efficiency of farming and production.Offer advice to farmers and farm managers on ways to improve production and explore alternative options.Study how forest trees grow and improve, including the effects of thinning on forest yield.Research how environmental factors (like soil, insects, and diseases) affect crop production, pasture growth, animal breeding, fisheries, and forests.Investigate the effects of different farming techniques, soils, insects, and diseases on production.Manage forests and aquatic resources to ensure long-term benefits for the environment, community, and economy.Prepare plans for reforestation and create efficient systems for harvesting forest resources.Plan and implement strategies to deal with the impacts of natural events like fires, floods, droughts, soil erosion, pests, and diseases.Skills and Qualifications
Prior Experience as an Agricultural ScientistAbility to work Full Timesrequired bachelor's degree or higher.
