TasWater The purpose of the TasWater Capital Delivery Office (CDO) is to build the capability and capacity of TasWater to fulfil its customer promises for improved service levels by efficiently and effectively delivering an accelerated capital program of works. This role is responsible for the delivery of operational and tactical HR advice and services. The role works closely with the CDO Management teams to implement effective people management practices, providing positive and proactive advice regarding recruitment and selection, Confidential Position Description 2employee relations and employee development. What will a day in this role look like: • Contribute to developing and implementing the P&C strategy, in alignment with the overall business strategy. • Manage the delivery of all People and Culture generalist activities over the employee lifecycle including recruitment, on/off boarding, performance management, training and development, renumeration and benefits, employee relation and other value adding projects, ensuring compliance with best practice and legislative requirements. • Provide timely and accurate P&C/ER/IR advice to managers and employees on a range of P&C issues including remuneration, retention initiatives, succession planning, conduct and capability matters, grievances, organisation change, and a range of employment and employee relation matters. • You will be working across multiple areas of the business What are we looking for you to bring to the team: • Tertiary HRM qualifications, or equivalent years of experience • Great work ethic and looking to take the next step in their career • Solid working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including remuneration and benefits, employee relations, performance management, recruitment and selection, training and development, talent management, organisation development and change management • Strong communication skills (oral & written) including the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels in the organisation.
