Peak local Council and community leader for Central Australia Part of a dynamic and future focused community Key role supporting the smart and efficient running of Council About Alice Springs Town Council Alice Springs Town Council is located in the heart and soul of Central Australia, fondly known as the Red Centre.Our Vision is of a brighter future, a prosperous and cohesive community.The Opportunity We seek a Manager Finance who will lead, coordinate and work alongside the finance team to effectively undertake a range of finance duties and satisfy changing needs of internal and external customersin the Civic Centre.Your responsibilities will include but not limited to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of accounting and financial services to the organisation including the development of financial policies and procedures, compile the annual budget, capital expenditure program, long-term financial plan, budget revisions and the analysis of the end of financial year position under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, oversee the preparation of the annual financial statements, ensure compliance with strategic legislative and policy requirements applicable to the responsibilities of the position.What will you get from joining the team?
