Your Role
As an allied health professional, you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. This is a great opportunity to work across a wide range of client bases - from needing help with basic equipment, through to home modifications to assist our clients to stay safe in their homes and live as independently as possible.
Your tasks will include:
Assessment and clinical exercise prescription for chronic disease management and functional ability Direct group based therapy classes ie. Hydrotherapy, Balance and Strength and Lungs in Action (Lungs in Action training and experience in hydrotherapy/aqua therapies beneficial) Direct and supervise individual exercise prescription- mostly clients home based Experience with Package care, NDIS, EPC and DVA beneficial but not essential Manage case load and review existing clients to meet their needs and audit requirements Liaise with other Health professionals in overall case management of clients. Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough). Current Police Screening Certificate Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Blue Card (Working with Children Check) Current registration with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) Current Queensland driver's licence Good computer & mobile device skills Effective communication skills Welcoming All
