We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Oxy/Gas Cutter who can hit the ground running! The ideal candidate will have come preferably from a Metal Recycling space or similar working environment.

About the Position
Reporting to the Yard Manager, you will be responsible for:
Downsizing/cutting of scrap metal using an oxy cutter Conducting pre-starts on oxy cutting equipment Sorting, processing and clearing of scrap metal Ensuring yard is clear and work area is safe to work in Using the forklift to move materials Carrying out general yard duties Reporting any risks, hazards, concerns to Yard Manager About You
You will hit the ground running and have the ability to work autonomously and as part of the team. You will have:
Minimum 2 years of experience in oxy cutting Previous experience working in Metal Recycling or similar environment Be physically fit and able to do manual work Excellent communication skills Be reliable and punctual Ability to follow instructions Safety First attitude Hold a valid forklift licence Own transport with drivers license.
