This is a hybrid role where you will be working from home and also from the QUT University in Queensland.
As a member of the Overseas service team, a premium service centre, a one-stop-shop for all our overseas student member needs.
Working in a collaborative environment you'll be providing support, advice and value to our overseas students in relation to their health insurance.

This role is full  time role working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
You will work on a rotating roster between 8am to 8pm AEST.

This role is ideal for someone who is looking to further develop their Customer Service skills and build a career at Medibank.

Key responsibilities will include: Providing a quality service for our valued customers; Service an end-to-end solution for Overseas Student customers; Being a positive contributor to the Overseas Specialist Team identifying and highlighting opportunities to improve the member and billing agent experience; Occasional presentations to stakeholders and customers (international students / university partner / migration agents) Expectation would be to assist students face-to-face, over the phone, via emails and over messaging About You  We are looking for empathetic and motivated people who are great at communicating face-to-face and over the phone in a compassionate and friendly manner.

Additional skills and experience:  Knowledge and understanding of the health, finance, or insurance industry within Australia is desirable, (not compulsory) Self-starter; a drive to pursue own learning and development outcomes and results; and Can remain calm and professional while dealing with at time challenging situations.
