About the Role: As a Tug Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational success of Welshpool Hub while upholding our safety-first values.
We seek individuals with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to meet deadlines.
This is a permanent part-time position, with night shifts starting between 12 am and 1 am (30% penalty rate applies for the duration of the shift).
Key Responsibilities: Timely and accurate movement of trucks and trailers, including B-doubles.
Coupling and uncoupling trailers.
Safe operation of vehicles in compliance with WHS regulations.
Forklift duties, including loading and unloading trailers.
Handling and lifting freight.
Experience & Abilities Required: Full work rights in Australia.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving history (max.
6 demerits in the last 3 years).
HC heavy vehicle license.
Forklift license (with experience).
Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests, driving assessments, criminal history checks, and fitness assessments.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Safety-focused with the ability to adhere to procedures.
Previous Tug experience is a plus.
