About the Role:

This is an exciting new opportunity available for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer or Project Manager to join a global consultancy, working with one of Australia's leading coal producers. Based in client offices in the Brisbane CBD, this role will require you to liaise with Transgrid, Essential Energy, and principal contractors to upgrade the overhead powerlines (OHP) in and around an existing mine site.

About You:

Extensive experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in overhead powerlines (OHP) HV transmission to resource sites.

Experienced in HV overhead powerline design, construction, and project coordination.

Expertise in PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, and relevant HV design tools.

Extensive knowledge of Australian electrical standards, regulations, and approval processes.

Strong liaison skills with utilities contractors and stakeholders, with experience negotiating and managing contracts.

Demonstrated ability to navigate safety standards and ensure compliance on construction sites.
