Coupled with outstanding facilities and a beautiful natural environment, Flinders is a truly remarkable place to work.ABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for a high-energy leader who is passionate about creating engaging and enriching experiences for children aged 5-12 years, to join our team as Assistant Coordinator and support the day-to-day operations of the Flinders Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service.This is a permanent, part-time position working a minimum of 20 hours per week, working a 5-day week across the service as an Educator, Responsible Person, and Administrator.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with the OSHC Coordinator to develop and implement programs for After School Care and Vacation Care.Ensure strict adherence to all policies and procedures to maintain a safe and supportive environment for children.Build strong relationships with children, their families, and school staff, fostering a positive and inclusive community.Assist the Coordinator with administrative tasks essential to the efficient operation of the OSHC service.Work in tandem with the Coordinator to guarantee that all programs comply with relevant regulations and the National Quality Framework (NQF).Act as the Responsible Person when required, playing a vital role in ensuring the well-being of children in the absence of the Coordinator.Qualifications and Experience:Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification).Proven experience working with children in a similar role.Knowledge of and commitment to adhering to relevant regulations and the National Quality Framework.Strong organizational and administrative skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Key Attributes:Passionate about creating a positive and stimulating environment for children.Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.Proactive and adaptable, able to handle varying tasks and responsibilities.Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and compliance.HOW TO APPLYIf you are excited about contributing to the wellbeing and development of children in an OSHC setting, please submit your resume and a cover letter (no more than two pages) addressing your relevant experience and qualifications to Ms Kirsten Bulger, OSHC Coordinator.Applications must be submitted via SEEK and will remain open until a suitable applicant is appointed.Safeguarding our StudentsMatthew Flinders Anglican College supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to ensuring the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of students.
