The 2IC role
As a 2IC or Second in Charge, you will assist the Director of Service in delivering an exceptional experience for the children in our care. This will include:
Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program (programming).Support with ensuring your program is compliant according to industry regulations.Interact with our parents and help them with enquiries wherever possible.Engage with the school community, attending events, assemblies, etc. when the Director can't attend.Play and have FUN with primary school aged children.Co-manage or coordinate during the school holiday program.You
We are looking for someone who:
Is passionate about kids, has loads of energy, and loves to have fun!Is a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude.Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you!Has outstanding communication skills, both verbal & written.Is looking for stable, permanent part-time hours - up to 25 per week.Is qualified or studying towards an ACECQA recognised qualification in Victoria.
