The 2IC Role (Second-in-Charge)As a 2IC, you will work closely with the Director of Service to ensure an exceptional experience for the children in your care. This includes:
Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program (programming).Support with ensuring your program is compliant according to industry regulations.Interact with our parents and help them with enquiries wherever possible.Engage with the school community, attending events, assemblies, etc. when the Director can't attend.Play and have FUN with primary school-aged children.Co-manage or coordinate during the school holiday program.What We're Looking ForYou are someone who:
Is passionate about helping children grow and learn in a fun, safe environment.Brings a wealth of life experience, a positive attitude, and strong problem-solving skills.Is a team player, with a collaborative and approachable manner.Has exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.Desirable: If you're qualified or studying toward an ACECQA-recognized qualification in Education, Youth, Social Work, Health, or related fields, that's a bonus, but it's not essential.
