The 2IC roleAs a 2IC or Second in Charge, you will assist the Director of Service in delivering an exceptional experience for the children in our care. This will include:
Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program (programming).Support with ensuring your program is in compliance according to industry regulations.Interact with our parents and help them with enquiries wherever possible.Engage with the school community, attending events, assemblies, etc. when the Director can't attend.Play and have FUN with primary school-aged children.Co-manage or coordinate during the school holiday program.This is a permanent part-time role.Service hours - BSC 6:30am - 9:00am, ASC 2:45pm - 6:30pm, Total 31.25 hours per week.YouYou're passionate about kids, have loads of energy, and love to have fun!You're a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude.Ideally, you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you!You have outstanding communication skills, both verbal & written.You are looking for stable, permanent part-time hours - up to 25 per week.You are qualified or studying towards an ACECQA recognised qualification in Victoria.
