A day in the life of an Outreach Service Coordinator includes: Initiate engagement with participants as quickly as possible.Undertake quality assessments and appointments with every participant you work with.Develop a quality and tailored Individual Job Plan that supports the skilling and preparation of participants returning to work, developing realistic and achievable goals Gain a good understanding of the local labour market needs.Skill our participants to be engaged in Employment, Education & Training.Contact and create links to employers to create future vacancies and employment opportunities for participants.Refer participants to community participation activities.Support participants with work experience activities and link to hosts ensuring successful attendance and up skilling is undertaken.Executing reverse marketing activities.Meet or exceed all placement and outcome targets.Engage whole of community towards employment programs and involve Elders and Leaders in community planning.Liaise with other government departments, Non-Government Organisations (NGOs), Centrelink in the region. Refer and advise participants to employment pathway which could include study – accredited Training.Ensure you have an in-depth knowledge of the benefits available for participants and employers to increase employment opportunity. Follow through on all participant and employer requests.Ensure compliance with the CDP contract for all relevant activities.Maintain confidentiality of participant records held in the site/office.Maintain accurate candidate and employer data/records to ensure relevant evidence is recorded.Provide coaching/mentoring in best practice of CDP service delivery to local operational staff.Support participants in the workplace to maintain ongoing employment through effective Post Placement Support.Liaise with employers to implement strategies to allow participants remain in employment.Undertake a regular retention review to capture any 'at risk' outcomes.Ensure all placements, including 'found own employment' are captured and recorded in the CDP IT System (ESS)Please note this position is a Fixed Term until 30th of June 2025 Qualifications: Experience in Employment Services, Disability Employment Services or CDEP/CDPAdministration experienceSkills/Attributes: Community engagementDemonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people Pro-active case management experienceProven customer services experienceHistory of developing innovative solutions Demonstrated ability to develop high quality, individually tailored customer serviceKnowledge: Knowledge of labour market trends and employment skills shortagesComprehensive knowledge of the employment services industry (contractual obligations, guidelines, management, and performance systems).Local, Employment Service Area and regional labour market knowledge.The Department Code of Conduct and Service Guarantees.WHS, HR & relevant legislative requirements e.g., WHS, privacy, disability & other discrimination, Social Security Act, etc.Intermediate knowledge of PC based applications e.g., Microsoft Office, database applications.Ability to understand and work within complaints and conflict resolution procedures.Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits package including health insurance and retirement plansOpportunities for professional growth and advancement within the organizationSupportive and collaborative work environment focused on making a positive impact in communitiesIf you meet the qualifications and are passionate about empowering individuals through community development programs, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
