At the heart of our approach lies a deep appreciation for the diverse path's students take, with a commitment to placing their needs at the forefront of everything we do.The RoleAs the Outreach Officer you will lead the development and execution of captivating STEM outreach programs within WA Schools, communities and industries to raise awareness about our university's courses and foster relationships with key stakeholders. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in supporting and deploying Student Ambassadors to assist in the delivery of outreach activities.What you'll bring to this roleA Science or Technology degree with at least four years subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Experience in developing and delivering learning activities, including the ability to write detailed session plans.Organisational, time and workload management and skills.Experience in developing, coordinating and managing successful events with young people from a wide range of backgrounds.Please note, the successful candidate will be required to provide a current Working with Children Check in accordance with the University's Employee Background Checks Procedure.Applicants should refer to the Position Description for further details on the work requirements, duties, skills and experience required for this role.
