The key purpose of this role is to includes managing program design, risk management, staffing, budgeting, and administrative functions to ensure the success of outdoor education experiences.
The coordinator will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all programs are aligned with the school's curriculum goals, safety protocols, and overall objectives.
The position fosters a culture of inclusivity, engagement, and personal development for all students within the school community.
This role will attract 40 – 60 field days per year by negotiation and the role is full-time and ongoing, commencing Term 1, 2025.
The successful applicant will: A current wilderness/remote area first aid qualification, or equivalent or higher Asthma, Anaphylaxis and Diabetes Level 1 and 2 training and mental health first aid.
A current driver licence.
A current employment Victorian Working With Children Check A current National Police Check Certificate Desirable Qualifications: A Royal Life Saving Society Bronze Medallion (surf bronze preferred), Community Surf Life Saving Certificate or interstate equivalent.
