Job Description ROLE OVERVIEW The Merchandise Analyst and Communication Coordinator role is responsible for the implementation and support of merchandise strategies, to enable Outback Stores to sell a wide range of products that delivers on sales, profit, and affordability targets. The position conducts data analysis in support of the store support team, developing best practice data management and reporting processes to positively influence decision making in business.
Key Accountabilities: Maintains effective communication with stores and internal stakeholders throughout Outback Stores. Manages and maintains the Retail Activity Planner (RAP) for Outback Stores. Administrates and maintains Project Management Platforms and documentation. First contact for Store for Merchandise, Supply chain and Nutrition tickets and queries. Assists in generating and analysing weekly data, scrutinising unsatisfactory margins, sales and social metrics. Assists in evaluation of the marketing and store information together with historical data and forward trends to develop the department's plans. Compliance
Complete all tasks in line with Outback Stores Policies and Procedures; Assist in the review of policies, procedures, documentation and forms. Administration
Provides communications support to the Source and Supply team. Provides administration support to the Source and Supply Team. Contributes to the management of all documents to meet audit requirements. Performs ad hoc administration duties in line with experience as required. Desired Skills and Experience Desired Qualifications Certificate III in Retail; Tertiary qualifications in finance or communications. Hold (or able to obtain) Working with Children Check and National Police Certificate. Expertise Two years plus administration or retail experience; Proven experience in retail. Ability to analyse data; Intermediate experience in Microsoft suite; Experience in Grocery Manager POS advantageous but not essential.
