Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Coordinator
Superstar OSHC Coordinator required We are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and collaborative person to lead our amazing Before / After School Care and Vacation Care team. The successful candidate will be a passionate educator who is a committed Christian, actively involved in their local church.
This full-time role will see you leading our thriving OSHC service for our students on the school grounds. You will be responsible for:
Effectively overseeing, supervising and managing the daily operation of our serviceUnderstanding the needs of the children, families and staffMaintaining the required administrative records and ensuring service compliance with both the regulatory standards and policies and procedures of our schoolRostering, mentoring and developing your teamHaving adequate knowledge and understanding of the provision of education and care to childrenProviding learning experiences and engaging programs for the studentsYou will be required to work split shifts during school terms and block shifts during vacation care and pupil-free days.
About You Along with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or a Bachelor Degree in Education, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
Experience in a similar leadership role within OSHCA thorough knowledge of the regulatory requirements, including compliance and operations for OSHC services through the Department of EducationSuccessful leadership and management of a teamCollaborative, innovative and effective practiceHighly relational interpersonal skills with staff, students and parentsExcellent oral and written communication skillsFun and positive attitudeExcellent ICT skills across a range of platformsCurrent First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualificationsNational criminal history check (or willingness to obtain)Child Protection CertificatesCurrent Working With Children CheckYou will be commencing with us on 20 January 2025. An induction process will be included prior to starting.
