Job Title: Casual Before and After School Care Worker
Location: Darwin, Palmerston and Surrounding Suburbs
Job Description: We are seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team as Before and After School Care Team in Darwin + Palmerston. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe and engaging environment for children before and after school hours. Your duties will include supervising activities, assisting the coordinator, facilitating games and crafts, and ensuring the well-being of all children in your care. You will be able to work with different schools and OSHC providers.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise children before and after school hoursFacilitate age-appropriate activities and gamesAssist children with homework and academic tasksEnsure the safety and well-being of all children in the programCommunicate effectively with parents and guardiansMaintain a clean and organized environmentRequirements: Previous experience working with children preferredStudying towards or Qualified in Early Childhood or Education highly favourableStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentValid Employee Working with Children Check (OCHRE Card) requiredPay Rate: Starting from $35 per hour, with potential for increases based on experience and qualifications.
