Position Title: Out of School Hours Care Coordinator

Position Overview: Coordinators within our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) programs support the delivery of outstanding education and care to school-aged children in an inclusive and fun environment where children are safe, engaged, and well supervised.
Responsibilities: Assist in the supervision of all children, ensuring their well-being and safety at all times.Interact with children, assisting in planning and implementing programs.Set up and clean away activities as required.Prepare food for children daily per health and nutrition policies if required.Develop the weekly education program in consultation with staff and feedback from children, parents, and the school community.Support inclusive practices for children with additional needs.Assist with the maintenance of accurate medical and attendance records.Work closely with, motivate, and supervise staff members of OSHC on a day-to-day basis.Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development.Mandatory Qualifications and Experience: Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education & Care.Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence.Current First Aid Certificate, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management training.Current Statement of Attainment for the course Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk' CHCPRT0025 or working towards.Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Ability to interact well with children and build positive relationships with families.Ability to work a rotating roster before and after school, during school holidays, and additional planning hours as required.Understanding of and commitment to Work Health & Safety.Health, Safety, and Environment Responsibilities: All staff are required to take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of other personnel who may be affected by their conduct.

Remuneration: This position is remunerated under the Children's Services Award 2010 dependent on qualifications and experience.
