We are seeking a talented and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join one of Australia's leading personal loan providers. What you'll do You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of software products by designing, implementing, and executing tests and will collaborate with development teams to identify issues, defects, and potential improvements throughout the software development lifecycle. Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Developing and maintaining comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and user stories Defining the testing strategy for new and existing features Performing manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects and ensure software quality Logging defects and tracking their resolution using defect management tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) Ensuring the testing environment is properly set up and aligned with project requirements Maintaining thorough documentation of testing activities, test cases, test results, and defect logs Providing management with progress reports, highlighting areas of risk, issues, and testing status What you'll bring: Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering 5+ years of experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing, in Agile/Scrum environments Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Sonar Cloud) Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git) Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) Experience with database testing and SQL queries Understanding of performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter) What we'll offer: Fast-growing business, disrupting traditional consumer finance.
