Role Details Based at Mt Whaleback
Roster based on 8:6 Days & Nights
12 hr days
Leading team of 4 tyre technicians
Great tyre bay and facilities
Duties Include Prioritising and directing personnel to perform tyre fitting and workshop maintenance tasks in the most efficient, safe and cost-effective manner.
Maintaining a safe and efficient workforce by providing constructive and positive feedback as well as initiatives for increased safety and performance.
Demonstrating a high level of supervision to ensure all safety systems are present.
Leading by example to ensure all personnel comply with site and company policies, procedures, & instructions.
Actively promoting a safety culture across site operations that targets zero harm to personnel and the environment.
About You Preferably a minimum of 2 years of Earthmover tyre fitting experience on mine sites.
A Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy; AUR21919/ AUR21920.
A valid HR Driving licence.
A current WorkSafe forklift licence.
Possess a high level of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure.
An understanding that safety is paramount, with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety procedures.
Possess a high level of maturity, initiative, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to work autonomously.
