About the role
ProVide Australia is seeking an experienced OTR (Off-the-Road) Tyre Technician and Grab Truck Operator to join our team in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. In this full-time OTR Tyre Technician role, you will play a key part in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our specialised grab trucks and our client's mining equipment.
What you'll be doing Inspecting and replacing OTR tyres, rims and chains on mining equipmentOperating the company's grab trucks to transport and fit OTR tyres, rims and chainsProviding on-site tyre fitting and support to mining operationsEnsuring compliance with all relevant safety standards and best practicesMaintaining detailed records of all wheel-related activitiesCollaborating with the wider team to optimise wheel management processesWhat we're looking for A valid HR driver's licenceExperience as an OTR Tyre Technician in the mining industry (Cert II training is available for the right candidate)Proven competence in the operation of grab trucks and forkliftsStrong mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose and solve tyre-related issuesExcellent attention to detail and a commitment to safetyThe ability to obtain required mine site access approvals (drug & alcohol screening and national police clearance)Willingness to work in a fast-paced, challenging environmentAbout us
