The position The full-time Brisbane based role support the laboratory functions of Nbryo, the Field Embryologist is responsible for assisting with field operations.
Key responsibilities: Search and classification of oocytes during Ovum Pick-Up (OPU) procedures; Loading of embryos in preparation for Embryo Transfer (ET); Assist in documenting field observation records; Assist in research in laboratory; Assist in calibration and maintenance of portable field equipment (e.g.
nitrogen tanks, microscopes, portable incubators); Assist with the preparation of culture media prior to field operations; Prepare materials and equipment required ahead of travel; Maintain inventory consumables stock; Comply and support the Quality Management system in all aspects of your role; Travel required, with occasional overnight stays.
Qualifications/skills/experience required: Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent required; Livestock handling of Bovines desirable; At least five (5) years of relevant experience required; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Details orientated; Organised; Microsoft Office suite preferred; Monday experience desirable; Driving license.
