3-month contract with extension, this is an ongoing role Brisbane CBD location We are seeking an experienced and motivated AO5 Lease Manager to join the team, specialising in commercial property management.
This role involves overseeing leasing projects, managing office accommodation, and providing strategic leasing advice to support the Department's objectives.
As the Lease Manager, your key responsibilities will include: Lease Project Delivery: Assist in the delivery of leasing projects and provide office accommodation solutions for the Department.
Portfolio Management: Contribute to the planning and supply management of leased assets within the State Government's commercial property portfolio.
Expert Advice: Offer lease management guidance to multi-disciplinary teams engaged in commercial leasing activities for the State Government's office property portfolio.
Policy Development and Implementation: Aid in the development and implementation of policies, guidelines, and systems to ensure best practices in leased office accommodation procurement and management.
Strategic Implementation: Support the execution of whole-of-Government accommodation strategies, particularly in the leased property sector.
Lease Negotiation: Undertake negotiation and management of leases across a portfolio of commercial properties.
Market Analysis: Provide timely and well-researched advice on market conditions and industry trends to aid in the development of whole-of-Government Office Accommodation Strategic Plans.
Desired Qualifications and Skills: Experience in commercial property management and lease negotiation.
Understanding of the property market and industry trends.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Proficiency in financial management and reporting.
