We're looking for an experienced professional to bring their skills to oversee our catering and housekeeping departments on a full-time basis.
You will play a key role within a supportive team, ensuring exceptional patient care is being delivered.
Melbourne Private Hospital have provided a range of acute medical and surgical healthcare services to our community for over 20 years.
We are a 122-bed private hospital co-located with the Royal Melbourne Hospital in the heart of Parkville, 1.7km from Melbourne CBD.
Our hospital offers highly specialised services including neurosurgery, neurology, advanced coronary care, cardiothoracic, orthopaedic, and general surgery.
These services are supported by a 10-bed intensive care unit, 4-bed acute coronary care unit and 6-bed neurosurgical high dependency unit.
This role involves: Operational & financial management Demonstrated positive interdepartmental relationships Human resource management Innovative problem solving Exemplary customer relations Promotion of a culture of risk identification and management Responsibility for performance improvement activities Demonstrated accountability for own professional development Positive outcome focus Essential criteria: Highly motivated and organised Extensive experience in the food services sector Experience and demonstrated skills in a management role within a health care or similar environment.
Minimum of five years' experience in a Hotel Services role, preferably within a health care setting.
Food Safety Supervisor & HACCP Certifications Experience developing and monitoring budgets.
Highly developed strategic, conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
