George's On Broadbeach is now looking for a skilled Cook to join their team.
The right candidate will be responsible for: • Assisting in the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes, ensuring high quality and consistency.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times.
• Following recipes and presentation specifications to ensure dishes meet the restaurant's standards.
• Collaborating with the culinary team to support menu development and daily specials.
• Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Managing stock levels and assisting with inventory management.
• Supporting senior kitchen staff in their daily tasks and contributing to a positive team environment.
• Ensuring all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
About you: • Previous experience as a Cook in a busy kitchen environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Passion for delivering high-quality food and customer satisfaction.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Job Type: Permanent/full-time Salary: $70,000-$90,000
