We're seeking experienced loader and excavator operators!
Ongoing work located in the Huon area in a landfill/quarry site $37-39 per hour + super + OT available.
Reputable company and the potential to turn into a permanent position.
Responsibilities:
Our client is seeking an experienced Loader Operator and Excavator operator, with a HR or higher truck licence also highly desirable.
As a skilled loader and excavator operator, you will play a crucial role in a landfill & quarry site where you will be responsible for:
The construction and maintenance of cells, internal roads, and drains.
Waste management tasks.
Controlling and directing trucks and contractors onsite.
Along with the above, you may also be required to assist with mobile screening/crushing operations, perform labouring duties, and other tasks as requested within the site.
It is important to possess a strong commitment to safety by ensuring all work is conducted according to site safety procedures and guidelines.
Requirements:
White Card
Current loader and excavator tickets with experience
Current valid HR truck licence (desirable)
Current valid Drivers licence
Fit and able to perform labouring duties as required
Possess strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
