Other (Construction) - Randstad

This role will provide on-site engineering services in support to the Project Manager and Supervisor to assist in the achievement of organisational and project objectives.
Key Accountabilities In-conjunction with the Project Manager and Site Supervisor prepare daily programming of site works.
Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, statutory requirements and specifications.
Notify the Project Manager and Supervisor of any defects, contaminations or variations found, within a timely manner.
Assist with preparation of site construction reports as required by the Project Manager and General Manager/Construction Manager.
Monitor construction progress for adherence to programme and report to the Project Manager.
Identify and assess project risks and report these to the Project Manager.
Key Requirements Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent.
Experience working on water and/or wastewater utilities infrastructure projects Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Suite Ability to prepare, monitor and update short-term production bar charts.
Ability to produce SWMS.
Ability to formulate and prepare minor contractual claims and variations.
Detailed knowledge of head and subcontract agreement pertaining to specific project.
Working knowledge of safety legislation, Australian Standards and industry codes.
To be considered for this role, you MUST have extensive experience working on water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects in Australia, specifically shaft construction or microtunnelling.
