Norwest Private Hospital is seeking an administration professional to join our ward clerk casual pool.

Norwest Private  Hospital  is located in the rapidly developing North West corridor of Sydney and is operated by Healthscope, a leading provider of private healthcare in Australia.
The hospital has 277 beds and is a high acuity facility with an Emergency Department located in Sydney's Bella Vista.
In this role, you will be involved in, but not restricted to: ·              Greeting patients and other customers.
·              Liaising with nursing staff to provide accurate information to relatives regarding timeframes of surgical patients ·              Preparation of patient files and coordination with other ward clerks to obtain ward patient files ·              Medical record filing and distribution of discharge summaries, x-ray and pathology results ·              Providing clerical support to the NUM and nursing staff ·              Liaison with allied health, wardspersons and other hospital departments when required to facilitate patient treatments or transfers Essential Qualities: ·              Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills ·              Good oral and written communication skills ·              Well organised, able to prioritise, plan ahead and work under pressure ·              Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & Webpas Medical System) ·              Previous front line customer service experience ·              Experience with medical terminology would be advantageous  WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER: ·              On-site parking ·              Opportunity to grow with a progressive expanding organisation ·              Join a dynamic and friendly team Why Healthscope?
