The position of Rehabilitation Consultant - OT: We are looking for a fully AHPRA Registered Occupational Therapist who is either happy to relocate to the Darwin area or lives locally.
If you are looking to make the move away from either aged care, hospital or NDIS and move into the professional services area of occupational rehab, then we would love to hear from you.
You will be supporting your clients through their whole rehabilitation journey.
You will become a rehab expert and act as the participant's advocate and their educator as you guide them through what can be a tough process for them.
Their success comes from having a more holistic approach and from leaning in to the expertise and experience of a large, supportive multidisciplinary team, to support their client's journey from rehab to healing.
As a Rehab Consultant - AHPRA REGISTERED OT you will: Advocate for people who feel disempowered to advocate for their own recovery and healthConduct assessments to help guide people towards recovery and health - this could include functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessmentsCollaborate with a variety of stakeholders including the employee who has suffered the injury, illness, or trauma, medical specialists, and other treatment providersWork across various industry portfolios including Veterans affairsWorking with treatment providers to ensure the best recovery outcomes for your clientsDevelop graduated return plans by liaising doctors regarding appropriate timeframes and goalsCase managing physical issues and liaising with treating health professionalsWhat you need to be considered: Tertiary qualifications as an Occupational TherapistMust have a current AHPRA Registration as an OTA passion for helping people navigate complex rehabilitation plansDemonstrated clinical reasoning and critical thinkingAbility to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goalOccupational Rehabilitation experience is highly desirable but not essentialStrong client focus and the ability to build relationships with a range of peopleA current, or ability to hold a Working with Children CheckWhat you can expect in return: Work/Life Balance - work from home or in the office - you choose!Graduates will be consideredVisa Sponsorship can be offered if requiredSalary range from $75-$100k + super for 1-3 years' experienceLoyalty bonus of up to $5,000Relocation Financial Assistance of up to $3,000KPI of 6-6.5 billable hours per day depending on your level of experienceQuarterly Bonus Incentive Plan - earn between $1k-$10k a quarter depending on your performanceExcellent career trajectory and progression - always promote from withinAnnual salary reviewYou will also have access to pool cars for travelLaptop and mobile phone providedOpportunity to purchase additional leaveYou will have the FLEXIBILITY and AUTONOMY to set your own hours, your own work location and have control over your own diaryPlease contact Tanzela Azam - Senior Associate Director at Zenith Healthcare on for a confidential conversation or email your updated resume to
