About us Ascot Park Primary School has a welcoming, caring school environment with a positive, inclusive culture that is underpinned by wellbeing for learning. The school is highly regarded by students, parents, and staff. The school has 190 students. The OSHC service at Ascot Park Primary School is run by the school's governing council. The service has a capacity of 50 children. It operates before school, after school and during pupil free days and school holidays as vacation care.
Qualifications & experience AQF Certificate III in children's services or an equivalent qualification, or in the opinion of the employer, possesses sufficient knowledge or experience to perform duties at this level Tasks & responsibilities Provide, with the support of the director and OSHC team, a quality care and children's services programAssist in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of quality programs and routinesReport observations of individual children or groups for planning purposesImplement daily care routines under directionUphold food safety regulations and maintain safety and cleanliness of the serviceSupport inclusion of children with additional needs, including disability and complex health support needsCreate a welcoming environment and engage with children in safe, fun and secure play-based learningAssist untrained staffFrom time-to-time back fill as responsible person for the servicePerform the duties reasonably required or directed by the Employer or director Benefits Be part of a growing OSHC service, working in a great team
