Our purpose is to support children, young people and families to thrive.With 20 outside school hours care (OSHC) services, we focus on providing children with places of belonging, where everyone feels safe, and where our program of play-based experiences and recreational activities is wonderfully rich and diverse.Job Summary:We have fantastic opportunities for multiple casual and permanent part-time OSHC Program Educators to join our Jabiru Northside OSHC teams at:• NashvilleWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join Jabiru as an OSHC Program Educator. In this role, you will engage in building strong and respectful connections and deliver a fun and engaging program for school-age children in our Outside School Hours Care program. You will create a safe and inclusive environment where children can learn, play, and socialise.Reporting to the location Service Manager, you will collaborate with a team of educators and contribute to and facilitate a high-quality learning experience while actively supervising children in a safe environment, ensuring their wellbeing at all times.Skills:Ability to work well in a teamPatience and empathy when working with childrenKnowledge of child development principlesResponsibilities:Implement age-appropriate activities for children in the OSHC programSupervise children during activities, ensuring their safety at all timesBuild positive relationships with parents, staff, and childrenMaintain a clean and organised environment for the OSHC programAssist with administrative tasks as neededQualifications:Minimum Certificate III in an area of study relevant to working with children (highly desirable)Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Experience working with children in a childcare setting is preferred but not required
