Lead a Brand-New Service in the Heart of Sydney! We're thrilled to announce the opening of a BRAND NEW After School Care service at St Mary's Cathedral, Sydney in Term 1, 2025! We are on the lookout for a confident, community-focused, and dynamic Coordinator to lead this exciting new venture.
With a dedicated full-time parking space (Monday-Friday, 6:30 am to 6:30 pm), you'll enjoy the convenience of working at a landmark location while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.
As the Coordinator, you'll bring energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism to:
Take charge as the Responsible Person for the service.Create a safe and welcoming environment for staff and children.Maintain precise attendance and booking schedules to ensure child safety and supervision.Lead and mentor a team of educators, empowering them to deliver exceptional care.Develop and implement fun, educational programs enriched by observations and reflective journals.Share children's program achievements with families, fostering strong connections.Build lasting relationships with families and the school community.This is a permanent, full-time position, offering 76 hours per fortnight.
About You We're seeking an inspiring leader who:
Holds a qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.Has experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC).?Is certified in Child Protection Training.?Holds current First Aid Certificates, including CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma management.Possesses a valid NSW Working With Children Check.About Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting children and families in our Catholic schools and parishes.
