We are hiring for a Coordinator at our before and after-school care service on the beautiful grounds of St Mary St Joseph Catholic Primary School, Maroubra. Utilising a dedicated space, you will be looking after and caring for primary school children. The Centre strives to provide a holistic program that supports and nurtures children's growth in their natural environment.

Your main responsibilities will be: Be the responsible person for the serviceProvide a safe OSHC service for staff and children in an all-inclusive professional team environmentMaintain children's attendance and casual booking schedules to ensure child safety and supervisionSupervise other educators, ensuring they understand and perform in-service responsibilitiesDesign and implement engaging educational programs with observations and reflection journalsCreate opportunities to share children's participation and engagement in programs with familiesMaintain strong relationships with families and the school communityMaintain a generous budgetNetwork with our other centre Coordinators in leadership and childcare workshopsThis is a permanent full-time position; 38 hours a week. (including vacation care)
About you Desirable in holding qualifications in Child Education and care or working towards:
Previous work experience in a similar role within Out of School Hour (OSHC) careHold a certificate of training in child protectionFull first-aid certificatesHold an NSW Working with Children check, or be willing to obtainAbout Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services: SCECS is a not-for-profit service catering to children and families from our Catholic schools and Parishes.
