What's the opportunity?
Y Victoria is currently seeking a permanent Coordinator for our Before and After School Care service at Armstrong Creek YMCA BSC/ASC program. This is a permanent full-time position with working hours varying from Monday to Friday, between 7:00am - 9:00am and 2:30pm - 6:00pm, with ample administration time during the day.
The hourly rate for the position is between $34 - $41 p/hour (depending on your qualification) + 11.5% super.
OSHC Coordinators are responsible for:

Overseeing the daily operations and strategic development and growth of the program;
Working with the Regional OSHC Coordinator to identify and respond to service improvement opportunities;
Creating a positive relationship with the school, families, local community groups and contract partners;
Managing a team of educators who support you in operating a high quality and fun Outside of School Hours Care program

What do you need?

You'll need to have either completed or be working towards a Diploma or tertiary-level qualification as determined by ACECQA (see the link below)
You'll need to have, or be willing to obtain a First Aid in an Education & Care Setting certificate (or equivalent)
You'll need to have, or be willing to obtain a valid Victorian Working with Children's Check – employee check
You'll need to have, or be willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor certificate within the first month of your employment

There are a variety of qualifications that ACECQA has approved to work within OSHC ranging from education to community services to healthcare. All Coordinators must be at a minimum, Diploma-level qualified.
