We live and breathe our company values every day by being considerate, passionate, courageous, and making a difference.Our Outside School Hours Care service, South Thornlie OSHClub, is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children.
This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 28.75 hours per week (guaranteed minimum) to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators.You will work across split shifts to support the service's operating hours of Monday – Friday, 6:50am – 8:50am (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:30pm – 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program).
You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too!About the roleCo-managing a team of Educators, you'll have the perfect balance of support and leadership opportunities.Manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years, with the support of a state-specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents.Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management.Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration.Who are we looking for?Enjoy working with kids.Strong and clear communication.Team player with a desire to become a service leader.Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!)
