Rainbow Region Kids deliver well-established child-centered services that provide National Quality Standard early childhood education and care to school-aged children, incorporating the My Time Our Place framework at multiple sites across the Northern Rivers.
The Assistant Coordinator oversees the day-to-day operations of the service. Responsibilities include purchasing stock and equipment, assisting with recruitment of educators, organising uniforms, training, mentoring & coaching, performance management, and assisting with programming.

Selection Criteria Diploma in Children's Services (or equivalent) and/or 3 years' Demonstrated supervision skills. Demonstrated experience communicating in a range of contexts. Knowledge and understanding of childhood development and programming for children. An understanding of Children's Services Regulations, the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the My Time Our Place Framework. Demonstrated experience in implementing quality improvement through and evaluating routines. Ability to undertake computing tasks. Experience using the Xplor database - or similar program. Additional Requirements A current NSW Drivers licence. Current NSW working with children's check prior to commencement. Current Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting certificate. Current Approved Child Protection certificate. Community Gateway holds ACEQA & QIP accreditation.
