Job Description:Challenging and rewarding work environmentOngoing training and development opportunities!Part Time, Fixed Term 8 hours per week until Jan 2026About the Role The Orthopaedic Sarcoma Surgeon will provide care for patients affected by bone and soft tissue tumors, both benign and malignant. They will also be involved in the management of bone metastases as well as tumor prostheses that might require revision.
The Orthopaedic Sarcoma Surgeon will work collaboratively with the other members of the Sarcoma Unit, the other members of the Orthopaedic Unit as well as members of other surgical and medical Units.
Classifications for this position will range from HN16 - HN56 dependent on years of experience.

The Department has long been considered as one of the leaders in academic Orthopaedic and Sarcoma Surgery in Australia and has considerable links with the Bone & Soft Tissue Tumour Service at VCCC. The Department of Orthopaedics is accredited by AOA as a training hospital. The Department is engaged in research of international recognition and is affiliated with the University of Melbourne.
